About Kinner Builder
Kinner Builder is an independent index of mechanical, electrical and fluid-power components. We catalogue parts across 19 suppliers and link you straight to whoever stocks the one you need. We are not a shop: there is no cart, no checkout and no payment on this site.
Why it exists
Finding a specific component is an exercise in tab management. The bearing you want is listed under four different names at four different distributors, each with its own department tree, its own search that fails on manufacturer part numbers, and its own idea of what a "thrust washer" is. Kinner Builder flattens that: one wide catalogue of 114 categories, matched on manufacturer part number so a single page shows you every supplier who has it.
What we store, and where it comes from
We index factual product data gathered from public supplier catalogues: part names, manufacturer part numbers, brands, specifications, last-seen prices, and the URL where the part can be bought. Facts about a product are not anyone's copyright, and we keep to them.
We do not copy supplier marketing copy. Every piece of descriptive prose on this site — the category introductions, the selection guides, the part descriptions — is written by us from the underlying specifications. We do not rehost supplier photography; where an image appears it is referenced from its source.
Our crawlers identify themselves, respect robots.txt, and run
at a rate meant to be invisible to the sites they read. If you operate a
supplier site and want your catalogue handled differently — crawled
less, crawled more, corrected, or removed — say so and we will act on it.
Prices and availability
Every price here is a last-seen value, captured when we last read that supplier's page. Industrial pricing moves with quantity breaks, contract terms, currency and stock. Treat the numbers on this site as a way to rank your options, never as a quote. Confirm on the supplier's own site before you order.
What we don't do
- We don't sell parts or take payment.
- We don't hold stock or ship anything.
- We don't rank suppliers by what they pay us — nobody pays us for placement.
- We don't guarantee a part is suitable for your application. That judgement is yours, against the manufacturer's own datasheet.
Corrections
A wrong spec or a dead link is a bug. If you find one — a part filed under the wrong category, a part number that doesn't exist, a link that 404s — tell us and it gets fixed.
